About

me!

My Story

My passion for preventative children’s dentistry started when I was just a child myself. It was in the school dental van, where I had fun, memorable experiences and learnt so much about my teeth, that this flame was stoked. I also watched my mum have to have two of her front teeth removed, which was really upsetting for all of us, and I wished there was something that was done to prevent this from happening and that I could have helped.

During my teens, I did a little bit of dental assisting after school and on weekends. Once I finished high school, I went straight into university and studied a Bachelor of Oral Health and knew I was in the right place when I had my first placement in the school dental van. I loved the positive impact I could have on these kids and their oral health and have known children’s preventive dentistry is my biggest purpose ever since.

Who knows, maybe along my journey, I’ll inspire the next generation of Oral Health Therapists who believe in wholistic preventive dentistry, as much as I do.

When I’m not talking about teeth, I’ll probably be talking about my cats, the latest yoga routine I did, or the outdoor adventures I’ve recently been on!
